Tender Description
Hobsons Bay Council is seeking a highly qualified Contractor to conduct landscape upgrade works to McCormack Park Stage 2.
The purpose of the contract is to undertake construction and maintenance of landscape improvements to this park. The landscape upgrade works contract consists of the following contracts of works:
- Civil Works, landscape preparation and supervision/coordination of all other contractors involved (executed by the head contractor)
- Shelters
- Play Equipment delivery and install
- Fitness Equipment delivery and install
- Rubber under surfacing
- Planting
- Site coordination and management of other contractors engaged directly by Council
A non-mandatory site visit will be held on: Wednesday, 8 January 2025 10.00AM- 11.00AM at McCormack Park, Jennings Street in Laverton.
Meeting Point: Existing Play space at McCormack Park (next to the public toilets).
Registration is required, please email contracts@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au to confirm your attendance.
The Contract Officer/s will be available at that time to answer any queries regarding this RFT and the tender process generally. An invitation will be sent to you via email upon registration.
If unable to attend at the above time due to holiday season in place - Tenderers are strongly encouraged to conduct a site visit preferably during a regular school day (considering peak times of school drop off and pick up) to understand the neighbourhood use. Alternatively, they can also request to seek a suitable time for organising a meeting with the council officers, subject to their availability.
